   Authors retain copyright of their work. The journal only requires a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article.

2. License to Publish
   The published work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to:

   • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

   • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially
     as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source of publication.

3. Author Rights
   Authors are free to:

   • Share and distribute their published article (e.g., on institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks)

   • Use the content in future works (books, lectures, etc.)

   • Archive the published version without embargo

4. Citation Requirement
   Any reuse of the article’s content must include proper citation of the original publication in Exegesis: Journal of Tafsir and Qur’anic Studies.
