Exegesis: Journal of Tafsir and Qur’anic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on the critical and interdisciplinary study of the Qur’an and its exegetical traditions. It publishes original research exploring classical tafsīr, contemporary hermeneutics, linguistic and historical approaches, as well as thematic and comparative analyses across various Islamic schools of thought. Bridging textual scholarship with modern intellectual challenges, the journal aims to deepen understanding of the Qur’anic discourse in both historical and contemporary contexts. Exegesis is published triannually in February, June, and October, and welcomes contributions in English, Arabic, or Bahasa from global scholars engaged in Qur’anic studies.
